● Inventory forecasting for Shopify

Know what to reorder and when.

Mint Stock Forecast turns your orders and stock into a reorder list: how fast each variant sells while it's in stock, when it runs out, when to order and how many to order — with the calculation shown for every number.

Features

Reorder decisions you can check

Built on the orders and stock already in Shopify — nothing to upload, nothing to add to your theme.

Accuracy
Sold-out days don't count as no demand

The sales rate is units sold divided by the days a variant could actually be bought. When something sells out, those days are left out, so a best seller that ran out doesn't look like a slow mover. New products count from the day they were created.

Clarity
Every number shows its working

Open any variant to see the calculation with its real numbers: units sold, in-stock days, sales rate, days of cover, safety stock, reorder point, target and the suggested quantity, plus a chart of daily sales with sold-out time marked.

Planning
Four lists that tell you what to do

Reorder now, reorder soon, overstocked and dead stock — filtered by vendor, collection or location. The most urgent variants are always at the top.

Suppliers
Lead times per vendor or product

Set a default lead time and safety stock, then override them per vendor or per product. Case packs and minimum order quantities are applied to every suggestion.

Live
Stock updates as it changes

Products and orders import in the background with Shopify's bulk exports, refresh daily, and stock changes apply live. Refunds, cancellations and test orders are handled for you.

Growing
Purchase orders and per-location forecasts

Everything to reorder grouped by vendor with a CSV to send to your supplier, forecasts for each location, CSV export of any list and a daily low-stock email.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask

How is the suggested order quantity calculated?

Target stock = sales per day × (lead time + safety days + the days each order should cover). The suggestion is target stock minus your stock position (available plus incoming), rounded up, then raised to the product's minimum order and rounded up to its case pack. The app shows this calculation for every variant.

How much sales history does it use?

Up to the last 8 weeks plus today (you choose 2, 4 or 8 weeks). Shopify gives apps access to the last 60 days of orders, so the app doesn't see older seasons; raise your safety stock ahead of a known busy period.

What happens when a product was out of stock?

Sold-out time is taken out of the calculation. The app records when stock runs out and comes back from Shopify's inventory updates. For the weeks before you installed the app, a variant that was already sold out is assumed to have sold out on the day of its last sale, and those forecasts are marked as estimated.

Does it handle returns, bundles and several locations?

Refunded units don't count as sales. Shopify bundles sell as their component products, and the components are forecast. With Pro, each location gets its own forecast from its own stock and the orders it fulfils.

What does the Free plan include?

Forecasts for your 50 best-selling variants with every list and explanation, lead times, safety stock and product rules, for all locations together.

What does the app store?

Products, variants, stock levels, and for each order line only the order ID, variant, date and quantity. No customer names, emails, addresses or prices. Sales older than 60 days are deleted.
